Porsche is gearing up to launch the next generation 911 later this year and ahead of its expected debut at the upcoming 2018 Paris Motor Show, Porsche has revealed the new Porsche 911, but in disguise. However, the image gives us a complete preview of the upcoming car. The 2019 Porsche 911 will not only come as more powerful and appealing, it dons loads of advanced high end technologies and the car also gets the touch of Porsche’s futuristic environment friendly powertrain technology.
Although they didn't reveal any detail about specification of the car, it could receive a hybrid powertrain that would churn out power output around 485 bhp and torque output would be around 761 Nm. A fully electric variant of the Porsche 911 is not launching immediately, but there is chance that Porsche will roll out an electric powered 911 in future. However, Porsche is not keen to talk about that as of now.
Porsche reveals that the next generation 911 sports coupe will still be a driver’s car offering the sheer joy of driving. While the world of automobiles is thriving to adopt autonomous driving technology, Porsche is very keen to save the 911 from the futuristic self-driving technology. The new Porsche 911 comes carrying its signature design language, but there are significant upgrades improving aerodynamic efficiency and performance as well.
As Porsche claims, this car comes with evolutionary design. Based on the evolved MMB architecture, the 2019 Porsche 911 is built with the blend of aluminium and high strength steel that not only makes it lightweight, but adds rigidity and improves performance along with stability. Inside the cabin, 2019 Porsche 911 comes equipped with more advanced and premium features, while space has been increased too thanks to the additional length added to the sports coupe.
